Route: Fes – Ifrane –Azrou - Midelt - Errachidia – Vallée du Ziz - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Erfoud - Touroug – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Gorges de Toudra – Boumalne – vallée de Dadès – gorges de Dadès - vallée des roses – Kelaa M’gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

This circuit can depart from Marrakech upon request

Day 1

Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Errachidia - Valle dello Ziz - Erfoud - Merzouga

Breakfast and departure for Midelt crossing over the mountains and the Citron trees forest of Middle Atlas. Transit in Ifrane, a very cozy ski resort and in Azrou, a very important center for Citron tree wood’s craftsmanship. Lunch time in Midelt after crossing over Zad’s pass (2178 mt.).  Afternoon prosecution towards Erfoud and Errachidia through Ziz valley, all scattered with palm trees. Continuation towards Erg Chebbi’s sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.

Day 2

Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga

Breakfast and Dunes’ Gran tour crossing the 2 Merzouga oasis, the nomads’ yard and Khamlia village (the black people’s village), Mifiss mines and the desert mesas where locals and Tissardmine oasis are to be found. Way back to the hotel at 3 pm and depart with dromedaries wagon train to admire sunset over the dunes. Overnight stay in a oasis located at a 2 hours trekking distance, in the open desert. Dinner and overnight stay under the tents.

Day 3

Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Touroug - Tinjdad - Tinghir - Gole di Dades - Gole di Todra - Boulmane - Valle di Dades - Gole di Dades

Early morning wakening to admire sunrise over the dunes and return on dromedaries’ back. Breakfast and departure for Rissani and Erfoud to visit its fossilized marble factory before heading towards Touroug and Tinidad’s palm trees forest. Lunch break at Todra gorges and afternoon visit to Dades gorges after crossing Boulmane and Dades ‘s valley. Dinner and overnight stay at the gorges.

Day 4

Gole di Dades - Valle di Dades - Valle delle Rose - Kelaa M'Gouna - Ouarzazate

Breakfast and return to Dades’s valley up to Ait Youl kasbah, the departing point of a trail to admire the kasbah and the ksour of Roses’ valley and to reach Kelaa M'Gouna. Lunch and continuation towards Skoura’s palm trees forest. Visit to Amredhyle’s kasbah and arrival to Quarzarate in the late evening. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 5

Ouarzazate - kasbah di Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

Breakfast and morning visit to Quarzazate: Taorirt kasbah, Tifoultoute kasbah and the movies’ studios. Continuation towards Ait Benhaddou to visit the old town and the kasbah (Unesco National heritage site). Afternoon departure to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka’s pass. Expected arrival in Marrakech at approximately 5:30 pm.
